Product
Your reports, without building reports
More than ninety built-in report tools cover the questions finance, sales and operations teams ask every day.
- Questions in plain language
- Ask about debtors, creditors, sales, stock, orders and the general ledger the way you would ask a colleague. EvoBot finds the right report and answers from your live data.
- Tables you can work with
- Answers come back as clear tables in the chat. When you need the full list, ask for Excel and download a formatted spreadsheet.
- Pivot tables in Excel
- Ask for a pivot table, for example the balance sheet with a column per month or sales by customer and month, and EvoBot builds a ready-to-use Excel pivot table you can slice and filter further yourself.
- Charts and graphs
- Ask for a graph and EvoBot draws it under the answer: line, column, bar or pie. Download it as an image for a report or presentation, or get it as a native, editable chart in the Excel file.
- Built for teams
- Invite colleagues and decide, per person, which databases they may use, whether they may export to Excel, which sales rep they are limited to and how many credits they may spend.
- Several companies, one login
- Accountants and groups switch between companies and databases from the same account, each with its own team, billing and settings.
Example
A month-by-month balance sheet, as a pivot table and a graph
One question gives you the closing balance of every balance sheet line at each month-end, a chart of the trend that you can download as an image, and an Excel file with a ready-made pivot table and a native chart.
Give me the balance sheet at each month-end from April to September as a pivot table, with a graph.
Here is the balance sheet at each month-end. Every month balances to zero; assets are positive and liabilities and equity negative.

Security
Security built in from the start
EvoBot was designed for financial data, with clear limits on what it can read and who can see it.
- The agent only reads. It never writes to or changes your Sage Evolution database.
- The agent connects out to EvoBot over an encrypted connection; no inbound ports are opened on your server.
- To write an answer, the report results are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, and your chats are stored in your EvoBot account. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept and for how long.
- Questions are answered only through EvoBot’s predefined reports, never free-form SQL.
- Passwords and operator codes are never read or shown.
- Two-factor authentication for every user, and processing in line with POPIA.

FAQ
Common questions
Which version of Sage Evolution do I need?
EvoBot is designed around Sage 200 Evolution versions 10 to 12 on Microsoft SQL Server. Other versions are supported too, but some limitations may apply, for example reports that rely on tables or columns a version does not have. The setup wizard tests the connection before anything is installed.
Can EvoBot change my data?
No. The agent has read-only access and only runs EvoBot’s predefined reports.
How am I billed?
You buy credits in advance and each question uses a few of them. There is no subscription or contract.
Can EvoBot draw graphs?
Yes. Ask for a line, column, bar or pie chart, for example sales per month or the balance sheet per month-end. The chart appears in the chat with a Download image button, and Excel files include it as a native chart.
Who in my team can see what?
You decide per person: which databases, Excel exports, a sales rep filter and credit limits per day, week or month.
How reliable are the answers?
EvoBot reads your live Sage Evolution data through tested reports and works best on versions 10 to 12, which it is designed around. On other versions some limitations may apply. Answers are written by AI and can still be wrong, so check important figures in Sage Evolution before relying on them.
